Your Will
We want to make it as straightforward as possible for you to complete your Will. It is a very important document and one that must fully express your wishes, whilst at the same time minimising problems for your dependents.

The following straightforward approach will enable you to organise your Will and relax knowing if anything should happen to you, your dependents will at least know your wishes and be able to start dealing with your estate.
Step 1 Please complete the simple questionnaire below and return it to Saida Siddiqui at Vizards Wyeth. Saida's contact details are at the end of the form. You can send the completed form either by email, fax or post.
Step 2 We will review your wishes and draft the outline Will. The more information you can give us initially the more comprehensive the Will can be. In particular you will need to decide all your beneficiaries and executors.
Step 3 - We will have a brief meeting to ensure you are happy with the draft Will and finalise any outstanding details.
Step 4 Once the document is agreed it can be signed and witnessed. Vizards Wyeth can safely store your Will if required. Once completed, you can relax and get on with the more enjoyable things in life.

Questions and Answers
What if I dont make a Will?
If you die without leaving a valid Will, it can be very difficult for those left behind to distribute your estate, whether large or small, in line with your wishes.
If your estate exceeds certain limits, and you die intestate, i.e. without a valid Will, the law will decide who can receive what. Imagine dying in a car crash and your family having to sell your house against their wishes to distribute your estate. If you would like more information regarding this please contact us.
If I have children who will look after them?
One of the most important parts of your Will is the ability to appoint guardians to take responsibility for your children in case you die before they reach adulthood.
Is there any limit to how many people can be left money or possessions in a Will?
There is no limit although sometimes it is easier to include a letter of wishes for specific items, e.g. jewellery just in case your circumstances change. Then you do not need to keep changing your Will. We can advise you about the most cost effective approach to take.
