Dispute Resolution
When a business relationship falters, any resulting dispute can easily become both serious and costly as positions become entrenched.
The Dispute Resolution team advises clients across a broad range of business sectors on all aspects of their disputes. We provide consistently practical advice of the highest quality. We believe litigation should be the process of last resort; consequently we will always provide advice that seeks to achieve the most efficient and cost effective route to resolve the dispute.
Against this background, however, we are very experienced in bringing and defending claims in the County Court, all divisions of the High Court, the Court of Appeal and the House of Lords. So if your dispute requires robust legal action as other methods of resolving the dispute have been exhausted, we will drive your case through all the necessary routes.

Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
ADR (in particular mediation) has become increasingly popular as it can provide a speedy and cost effective alternative to litigating a matter to trial.
Mediation is a voluntary dispute resolution process in which a specially trained, neutral third party (the mediator) assists the parties to explore ways to reach a negotiated settlement.
We use ADR and, if appropriate, mediation regularly and effectively wherever and whenever it is in our clients best interests.
